There's a special place in my heart for Back to the Future. Also big on Star Wars original trilogy, Miyazaki films, and Serenity.
Definitely a fan of Firefly, and as a result of falling for that show I've become a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Big Lost fan. I'm also currently digging Chuck, Life, Avatar the Last Airbender, Dexter, Doctor Who, and Pushing Daisies makes me smile.
Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, Temeraire series by Naomi Novik, Ender's Game and subsequent books by Orson Scott Card, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. That's all I can recall off the top of my head at the moment.
