About Me

I'm really enjoying my life right now. I work hard, but I play hard too. I love to travel, and have been throughout lots of the United States. As far as foreign countries, I have been to Panama 3 times, and absolutely love it there. I have the mind of a scientist, but the heart of a poet. I have a job that I love, a house, and a wonderful dog who travels with me (when I can drive there). I love excercise in the outdoors (don't really like the gym), but always take some time out for some down time just reading a book or hanging out in the hammock with a beer and some Jimmy Buffett playing in the background. I'm pretty down to earth, and what you see is what you get.

My Interests

Numerous and varied.... here are just a few.... the outdoors, travel, concerts, hiking, biking, good books, sleeping while it rains outside... the list goes on

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking for someone who shares many of my interests, but has some of her own, and is willing to share them. I enjoy learning new things, and having new experiences. I have an adventurous soul, so will try new things. Ideally, I would like to meet someone I can share my life with, but am also looking to have fun along the way.

Music:

I like just about anything except for Rap. You will find me listening to rock, country, comedy, or even NPR, depending on my mood. My all time favorite is Jimmy Buffett. He just clicks with my island state of mind sometimes! I am a child of the 80's, so must admit to a love of hairbands (Bon Jovi, Dokken, Motley Crue), and try to see the cover band Tainted Love whenever they come through Chico. I enjoy the story behind the music.

Movies:

pretty much anything, if it isn't absolutely horrible, I am entertained for the two hours I wanted to be entertained

Television:

your basic guy lineup.... Comedy Central, ESPN, Animal Planet, the Discovery Channel, SciFi Channel, and NFL Sunday ticket!

Books:

The older I get, the more diversified my reading likes get. But in general, I like fantasy, crime, and suspense, with a little horror sprinkled in. Like the movies, if it's not horrible, I am entertained.
