Living in hollywood, calif seasonally .I have been rather privelaged to meet my idol...I was a guest in her beautiful home near beverly hills,ca...in 2005... Thanks to a pal name joel, who was in the middle of writing a book on the greats of the golden era of hollywood. I was invited to come along on the day he interviewd her and her famous spouse..who was a singer..After the interview concluded I asked could she and I take a picture together. She replied yes..After two pic's with joel..myself.. I summoned up the courage to say ms...you were my teacher...I learned everything about the type of dance I perform in venues from you..Desperately trying to hold back the tears...knowing that joel would strangle me if one dropped past my chin..She was pleasantly surprised to hear that.. She inquired whether I would be performing at a venue in the near future where she could take in a performance of mine..I was able to get booked into a venue...made an attempt to contact her...I even sent her flowers..and a thank you note. Im not certain if she made it shes up in her 80's. though i dedicated the performance to her that evening....Thank you ms.
