Well,I guess it would be best to start by saying, "life doesn't owe me a thang!!!" I am originally from Lawnside, New Jersey but I currently reside in Philadelphia. Music has always been apart of my life. My sister and I were apart of a group called Spice when we were teenagers. The buzz our group created led us to become the original background singers for Mcfadden and Whitehead who aside from the international hit "Ain't No stoppin' Us now," wrote hits for The O'Jays ("Back Stabbers", Harold melvin and the Blue Notes("Wake Up Everybody", "Where Are All My Friends") Archie Bell & the Drells ("Soul City Walk", "Don't Let Love Get You Down"), and Teddy Pendegrass just to name a few. Touring with Mcfadden and Whitehead was quite and experience. I could tell you all about it, but then this would be a novel, and that's something I'd be selling! lol I will say, however, that I have been some of everywhere in the world (Paris, Japan, Athens, Rome, & everywhere in the United States!) and met just about every legend of my time (Patti Labelle, the O'Jays, Gamble and Huff, James Brown, Confunksion,& Marvin Gaye just to name a few!). After touring and traveling, I decided that there was more to life then glitz and glamour so I decided to settle down with our then road manager and former member of the Epsilons James knight. We now have been married for 24 years and have two beautiful children, Jamie and James who are also into music.
