.. I'm a refugee of the 60's. I still hold onto the spirit of "PEACE & LOVE" from then! Music, art, and the oceans, are what drive my soul. I played drums and sang lead in several garage bands back in school. Man the music had so much energy! It was an exciting time, funny how we focus on the goodtimes, and let the bad ones fall off of the face of the earth. I was one of the first guys to surf The Great Lakes! In high school, my band mate Larry and I each bought surf boards sight unseen from a surf shop in Santa Monica California (no internet). I lived a block off of Lake Michigan, and I was a sight walking across Lake Shore Drive with my 9'5" yellow and white board! We actually formed The East Point Surf Club, and drove around the Great Lakes looking for waves. The funny part of it was that the best surf condition on the lake was during the early spring, and in the fall. So it was cold. Once in a while, we'd get a summer storm and get a little warm weather surfing in. It's my hope that those of you who sing with me at my karaoke venues enjoy the experience. Don't forget to visit the website, for information regarding each of my venues!
