My name is Brutus. I am almost a year old. I am a Basset Hound Mix. I am officially the cutest puppy in the whole wide world, even if I am already a very large dog. My mommy, Jessica, and my daddy, Nick, love me very much and play with me a lot. I like to eat the knitting projects mommy works on and jump in daddy's lap while he's watching TV. I also really like to play tennis with daddy, but i think my slobber is bad for his tennis racquet. I really like toys that make noise and those tasty bones. Mommy and Daddy have a queen sized bed, but I don't think it's big enough for the three of us. It would be more comfortable if they would sleep somewhere else. I am very helpful around the house. I am always trying to get rid of the trash in the trash cans for daddy and even help mommy move clean laundry from the bed to the floor (which is where they should go). I love to drink water out of that big white thing with the lid...but I hate it when they don't leave it up for me.
I am very strong. I am also very fast. My neck hurts from trying to help mommy and daddy go up and down the stairs faster. Sometimes they need a little tug. I snore and I whine, but that's just what sweet puppys do. I spend a lot of time by myself, which I hate. Whenever mommy and daddy leave they put me in the penalty box. We all really like hockey.
