When The Button Switches are an indie-rock band from the deepest wilds of Lincolnshire. Originally formed as a 4-piece in early 2007, we began gigging locally in June and recorded our first EP, Narrow Sight EP, in October of that year. We continued to gig reguarly and played our first non-local gig at The Cavern Club in Liverpool in March 2008. Sadly this was our final gig as a 4-piece as our guitarist Adam left due to other commitments. We decided to carry on as a 3-piece however, creating a set of new material and adapted some of our older tracks.
Throughout 2008 we worked extremely hard as a 3-piece and gigged all across the country in places like London, Brighton, Basildon, Leeds and Bradford to name but a few! We've been lucky enough to meet some awesome bands and make new friends. We also won the N.E Lincs Arts Forum Battle of The Bands in August and recently did a live session for BBC Introducing. We also completed work on our second EP, Occam's Razor EP, towards the end of 2008 which we recorded with Dave Formula (Magazine).
We've begun 2009 as a 4-piece again with new guitarist John and have been busy writing new material in preparation for recording our 3rd E.P. later in the year.
