I am a performance artist, which involves: theatrical performance poetry,
physical-visual theatre and dance. I write and perform poetry in theatrical manner. I create and perform solo pieces of physical visual theatre and dance.
Sometimes I mix all three forms of expression in one piece. I also participate in "traditional" plays as an actress. I collaborate with other performance artists, usually with musicians as a dancer and physical performer. (I am currently member of the band Swing it). I have published four books of poetry. I have studied acting, dance and physical theatre. My main area of interest is theatre and all described performance activities are various facets of theatre for me. I am not specifically trying to do things in various styles - different ideas call on me and I am going along with subconscious current of creativity. For last five years I have been mainly performing in London. I also participate at festivals from time to time. 2007 I have participated at three festivals as a featured performer: Spit Lit Literature festival in London (March) - poetry ; Glastonbury festival (June) - poetry ;Landjewel festival in Ruigoord, Holland (July) - physical visual theatre and poetry.There are more details and images on my website.
