I am here for Friends

About Me

Alright... I guess that's the part from the profile where I'm supposed to convince you that I'm the most wonderful, generous, honest, friendly and open-minded person in the world (or at least that I'm among the top 20), and you're supposed to believe me... Here we go:

I absolutely LOVE being myself. And it's not because I'm so deeply in love with everything about my own personality - there's a bunch of things about it I can't say I like - but because of that specific taste of freedom it brings.

Sometimes I'm the typical annoying woman with all that "Oh, god, I have nothing to wear!" and "My hair looks like a bird's nest today!" stuff, but I'm OK with it since it gives me a good reason to make fun of myself. Did I mention I love making fun of myself? Well, I do. And I don't understand people who take themselves too seriously.

I do have a silly side...um...a very noticeable one. I'd been trying to hide it for a pretty long time, but recently I've learned to love it and now I wouldn't change it for the world.

I love music, really. One of my favourite things in the world is to put my headphones and listen to rock ballads as loud as I can stand, which didn't remain without consequences, so if you happen to meet me, please, speak slowly and LOUDLY! ;)

There are two things I would never refuse - chocolate and coffee.

And one more thing... Please, don't give me advices if I haven't asked you for one. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I think I know better than you. It's just that I'm sick and tired of being protected. I want to live my own life and make my own mistakes. But, look at it on the bright side - if I screw up, you'll have the priceless opportunity to tell me: "I knew it was going to happen, but you never listen!"

So, this is me...

...was I convincing enough?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

...anyone who's not afraid of being himself and lets the others be themselves, as well. Oh, I almost forgot - I am definitely not going to add you if you don't message me first. If you can't tell, I'm not one of these people who needs to have a large MySpace friend list in order to feel popular.

...and that guy:

I just wanna shake his hand for composing the most beautiful song in the world.

Music:

Music...is a big part of my life. I'm mainly into rock music - Scorpions are my favourite... there's also Rainbow, Beatles, Foreigner, Whitesnake... I hope you get the idea. :)

Books:

My three favourites (not in that order) are:

1. Crime and Punishment - F. Dostoevski

2. The Picture of Dorian Gray - O. Wilde

3. Lord of the Rings - J. Tolkien

Heroes:

My fiance... for always being himself, for making me happier than I've known it was possible and for loving me when even I find it hard to love myself.

WARNING! There's a good chance that you'd recognize yourself in at least one of the things listed below (I myself do), so if you don't have the tendency to make fun of yourself, better don't read it."...

People vs Humans

The story I'm about to tell you doesn't aim to convince you what a wonderful and great person I am (in fact, in many cases I am far from that, but few people know it). Actually, I'm not sure the story...

About a bubble gum

Some months ago, a friend of mine asked me what love is like. It made me think about a bubble gum they used to sell when I was a little girl. It was named "Love Is" and it went with a picture of a boy...

I got bored, so...

OK...this is too silly even for me, which doesn't explain why I've decided to share it with everybody...So, as I couldn't sleep last night because my mind just refused to stop working, I took a piece ...
