Liquid Silk is the music duo of Sarah Knight and Kirk Spencer, there music has been described as “Soothing, Beautiful music†by the Zane Lowe BBC1.
They are based in Nottingham were they regularly play live gigs in various venues across the city.
They have recently released their 3 track Demo, which they are promoting around the U.K. Both members of the group are heavily active in the music scene, dedicating a lot of there time and effort to become better musicians.
They both regularly make music in recording studios such as the CRS studio and Al Bears studio.
Kirk Spencer the guitarist is also making his mark as a producer around the city for making music with a lot of different artists from rappers like Shifty Spirit and Instinct to singers like Annika and Nina Zoe.
Sarah and Kirk have performed in well-known establishments such as the Royal Concert Hall and the Nottingham Playhouse.
Sarah Knight the singer of Liquid Silk is also a member of two other bands, the Onions and Lost Illusions. She has been singing and performing since she was 6 years old and her talent is starting to be acknowledged around Nottingham.
Both halves of Liquid Silk have worked with other bands which have concluded in radio play and even on compilation albums. Sarah Knight and Kirk Spencer met at Clarendon Collage, on the same music course, were they were put in a band together and from there onwards they have continued to work with each other.
