About Me

I've been playing jazz since the early 21st century. I make a small living doing freelance work in and around San Diego. Jazz is the thing, but I enjoy playing in most contexts. Having grown up here (in Escondido) I've made some fine friends, many of whom are also great players. My association with the people I play with is invaluable. The recordings posted here come from some of these associations. Several of the tunes are compositions of mine, also.I've recently graduated from SDSU with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Studies, but learning never stops. I've devoted my life to becoming a better musician.
