John Authenreith

I began playing piano, violin and guitar at a young age and started my first band at the age of 17. I was blessed as a kid that my parents took me to church on Sunday so I was able to understand Christianity and base my life on Jesus Christ. When I became a teenager, I let go of any spirituality I had and devoted my life to becoming a rock star - living my life like it was one big party - I didn't consider God or go to church or anything for over 15 years. It wasn't until I got married to Donna and had kids (I never became a rock star) that I felt the call of God to devote my life and my music to him. Through the years I have been blessed to experience local success throughout Ohio with such bands as Insight, Harlow, Sez U and Aftermath, (mostly as a keyboard player), and recently I played lead guitar in Houston Texas with a blues band called Blind Bartemeaus. I have also performed as a solo acoustic artist for the past 10 years. I have been fortunate to have appeared on several CD projects and the radio and my music has been used on television programs and documentaries. I am currently the Pastor of Worship Arts at a church near Toledo, Ohio and I play with guitarist Dan Robertson in a classic rock acoustic duo apptly named, "John & Dan," (www.myspace.com/johndanmusic).
