Knockout Jenkins was born and raised in South Bronx. He began rapping in his teenage years. It was when KOJ would freestyle and battle that people encouraged him to take his talent to the next level and make music, which he has been doing for over a year now. Today, at age 23, KOJ is surfacing as a powerful force in New York hip-hop. A member of the late hip-hop group Black Phoenix, the time has come for KOJ to embark on his solo career and expose himself to the national (and eventual international) hip-hop fan base.
