I'm 'generally interested' in a lot of things.
Music, guitar (yes, I'm totally a noob right now), running, soccer, and good books are all pretty good at holding my interest, but in the words of a wise anchorman, I dabble... or try to at least!
Anyone who can skip rope and do my laundry all while whitsling the national anthem in hebrew. How do you whistle in hebrew? Consult your nearest farm hand.
In seriousness, anyone with a good sense of humor... And anyone who is spiffy, and admires the word spiffy as much as I do.
...And naturally, anyone who can appreciate a romantic stroll through the city landfill followed by a teriffically mood-setting trip to pizza hut.
The worst is all the lovely weather,
I'm stunned it's not raining.
The coffee isn't even bitter,
Because what's the difference?
There's all the work that needs to be done,
It's late, for revision.
There's all the time and all the planning,
And songs to be finished.
Music?
I love all of it.
Ok that's a little over-the-top...
And less arbitrary than the truth...
I like anything I think sounds good, regardless of genre...
Except Ugandan Tribal Chanting... bad memories :(
Here's who I heart...
I LOVE movies.
Good movies.
Lame movies make me feel like a little piece of my life has been stolen from me.
Fortunately there's plenty of good movies out there.
The Daily Show's my absolute favorite show, with The Office second only because it isn't on all the time... but other than that and The Colbert Report, not too much I watch often.
But I'm quite a nerd at heart, so I mostly look for something on those learning type channels.
Dey make TV Good :)
Yes, I do like books.
As with movies, anything that wastes a piece of my life but doesn't make me feel like I've wasted it.
All-time favorite book though is probably Catch-22.
Without a doubt my parents are my biggest heroes. My dad worked relentlessly so we could have an enjoyable life here, and my mom worked just as hard with the finances and raising us. Thanks to her brains and my dad's unbelievable work ethic, they were able to bring us from nothing at all when we immigrated to a pretty respectable setup. Even though we have had our big clashes, I have always had mounds of respect for them and always will. Although I may not always make it apparent, I'll eternally be grateful.
