DRI - MARCH 26
I love my daddy.
Uhhh, Hey. I’m Katie Queen. Shy, but friendly.
I’m in love with gas station food. Tequitos and cheesy hotdogs, yeah!
Music will always be my true love. Every kind; it’s amazing in some way. Break it down, listen to how much is going on. It’s astonishing. Let’s go to a show where I don’t have to stand around though, please?
I like makin’ weird stuff, alterin’ clothes and givin’ gifts.
My friends tell me I should be a voice actor. Oh Lord, the noises you’ll hear me make.
I get really silly sometimes. If I’m comfortable around you, you’ll witness first-hand.
I like piercings in general. They get pretty creative sometimes. All of mine I’ve done myself.
Doin’ hair’s alright. It’ll pay the bills. I’m pretty good, not to get the big head.
I’m a generous person; a push-over. Perhaps too nice, but nonetheless.
But I just can’t build up the gumption to get all pissed off about the smallest things. It’s a flaw, really.
That being said, I’d like to think I’m a pretty honest, whole-hearted person.
Now I’m sure as shit not tryin’ to say I’m perfect. I’ve done my fair share of bad-mouthin’ too, but hell, who hasn’t? It ain’t like it does any good no how.
I like meetin’ new people and doin’ new things. The last six months have opened a lot of doors for me.
Now let’s get to busy-ness:
I lived easy for so long that I’m just now learning things the hard way.
I guess I’m a bit of a ‘late bloomer.’
But everyone I’ve met, I’ve learned something from, so no one’s a lost cause. And I probably already have or eventually will forgive everyone I’ve ever had a spat with. I’d rather have a friend any day.
I’ve also learned every situation in my life, good and bad. I’ve been used, taken advantage of, loved, broken, and naïve, but in all I’m pretty good with the way things’ve went, and how they’re still going.
And when you think you know someone, you don’t.
Take a closer look. That is all.
So for now, I’m gonna give it all I’ve got, get out there and experience the real world.
My perfect day is hangin’ out with the few I call close, makin’ adventures out of the smallest things. Goin’ out and makin’ people laugh. Getting my ass kicked at Mario Kart and Super Mario Brothers in a dark, smoky room. Goin’ to punk rock shows and moshing in heels. Screaming at a broken stoplight for forty-five minutes before getting serenaded at Guitar Center. Buying matching jogging suits from the Re-Cellar and walking around town bein' rad. Having a friend’s congregation calling him asking if he’s still goin’ to church after being seen walking around town with me. Rinsing a friend’s color out hovered over her in a bath tub. Pissing and puking in the tunnels under the Foothills Mall and sitting in creepy old houses. Driving around town yelling obscenities at people walking on the sidewalk. Listening to boys getting so worked up talkin’ about video games over delicious Chinese cuisine. Playing liquor pong, smokin’ two packs of cigarettes, and videoing my friends rapping about bitches, hoes and money. Blaring Umbrella and Fuego in the Jetta while pulling up to the Ginger hangout. Tearin’ up the field on dirtbikes and four-wheelers trying to see who can pull the craziest stunt, then eating $170 worth of sushi in one sitting. Taking retarded amounts of silly webcam pictures, laughing until we cry. Watching pterodactyl porn and dancing to Lady GaGa before going to class. Roaming the streets of Murphy and playing at the park until 5am. Wakin’ up and snugglin’ in bed with someone I love, lookin’ rough as hell, being told I’m beautiful.
Good times.
Make my day.
