It appears I have succumbed to the ever increasing pressure to get a Myspace! And now the pressure to actually add some significant information about myself is rising too. I must resist....must resist.....ahh what the heck. I've even got a serious looking self portrait myspace photo...I'm one of the crew now!
Myspace picture uploader sucks big time so I've taken to putting my pics at http://picasaweb.google.com/nickedney
Check them out!
Back to me, who seems to be the topic of conversation for once seeing as this is MY space
If you choose to classify me by career choice I'm a uni student currently working towards a combined Electrical engineering & Commerce (finance) degree. I've just passed the half way mark (2.5yrs), so it should all be downhill from here right? Uni's cool, I enjoy it.
Then you could classify me by my work. I take phone calls from customers for a Power company...yep one of those customer service people working in a dead end job and copping crap from disgruntled customers. Well its really not that bad and customers don't care too much if you know whats going on, but its not a great job either. That would be why I'm at uni. It does pay most of the bills (combined with a very generous government that gives me $60 a fn youth allowance because I earn too much....don't get me started on this one).
Perhaps you could classify me by my main interests / hobbies. Then I'd be Nick the muso who you will find playing the guitar at 2am just because I can (And that class in the morning really isn't that important). Or perhaps rocking out down at a local pub playing in a band for local artist Emily Hanscamp http://www.myspace.com/emilyhanscamp (who will be in my friends when she gets round to her monthly myspace update). Or even putting pen to paper and expressing my deepest feelings in a song that will have you in uncontrolable tears. Tears of laughter at my attempts to sing that is...
Or perhaps you'd classify me by my taste in music...further info is located on the left of this page. Rock
Or else to you I might be Nick the Christian who's pretty keen to share what I think is the best thing ever to happen to the world. I believe in miracles because I've seen them. And not just turning water into wine (or in my case i think the turning of water into beer is also quite a miracle ) but seriously stuff like legs and hips and backs and stuff being fixed. To me that says that God's more than just a picture in a stained glass window.
I'm sure there's plenty more that could be said here. Thats why there's a comments section down the bottom.
