Autobiography of Minister Angelo BowieI was born on the 29th day of August in Atlanta, GA. I spent most of my childhood playing sports and singing. At the age of ten I was doing lead vocals in a band with my brother, Mike. I went to elementary school at Alfred Blalock. I was in the chorus and did very well. The teacher urged me to do lead vocals, but I declined because I was shy. My next step was C.L. Harper High School where I again played sports and sang in the chorus. When opportunity knocked this time however, I was ready. I received many awards for my achievements at Harper High School. Including outstanding soloist and most talented for the academic year 1980 – 81. I also received a scholarship to Morris Brown College as a result of my accomplishments. I was also put in the Who’s Who music book for the year of 1980. I song in many groups and choirs over the years. I got my next entertainment opportunities with “Top 40†bands. I also had stints in several local clubs around Atlanta; such as the Sans Souci and the Night Life. Through my involvement in the music industry, I have also learned to play keyboards, drums, and how to program drum machines. I have always wanted to make it in the Entertainment business. In 1992 I became a member of the Wings of Faith Mass Choir in Mableton, GA. I also recorded with the association of gospel songwriters. I am in the process of writing and recording my first solo project. I am currently a member of the Royal Priesthood Family in Atlanta, GA; and the owner of Lo-Lo Productions. From 1997 – 2001, I was on the ministerial staff at Wings of Faith, waiting on the opportunity to Pastor and Evangelize this world. As of June 2005 I was directed by God to become a part of New direction Ministries. Under the leadership of Pastor Dier Hopkins, who is one of the sons of Bishop D.C. Smith of Wings of Faith. I have helped him to start a new choir and praise team. On January 22nd 2005, I was licensed to preach the gospel and my Pastor is prepared to ordain me upon installation or request.Thank You All,Minister Angelo Bowie
