One of my most passionate interests is in learning about and collecting Antique Clothing - my particular favorites are styles from the late bustle era. I used to own 50+ examples of styles from the 1840s through the 1900s but sadly have had to sell everything off to pay for renovations to our 1840s farm house.
I love animals, and I have an adorable pony, "Zuni Fetish" that I drive. We also have a 4 yr old (Inca) that we hope to drive with Zuni as a pair. We participate in Pleasure Shows, Cross Country, Cones Courses, and love to do Parades in Victorian/Edwardian costume!
We've also started raising some chickens and adore our small backyard flock, and this has been very interesting! Our sick little hen, Beep, has been the focus of our lives for the past year, she requires special care and is like a child to my husband and I. I really enjoy music - Deborah Harry of Blondie is my favorite singer; a great lady and wonderful mentor. I met my husband on tour in the UK, many thanks to Debbie! I was fortunate to travel throughout Europe working for Debbie and the Jazz Passengers on tour - what an experience! My undergrad studies are concentrated in Music Business, and I actually went to Law School in Manhattan for a year before I realized that the city wasn't for me. So I went "back to Ohio" (a play for all you Pretenders fans!) to get back to nature.
I am also interested in Mesoamerican/PreColumbian cultures, and have taken some anthropology/archaeology courses at the University of Cincinnati. When we go on vacation, we usually do a camping trip through Mexico with TrekAmerica . Lastly, I'm learning about keeping succulent plants (Euphorbias are my favorites), and this has proven to be a challenging hobby.I'm slowly making the switch to Facebook so look me up there!
