About Me

I think I'm hillarious.

My Interests

Long walks on short piers.

I'd like to meet:

People who think I'm hillarious.

Music:

Talking Heads, Ween, the Strokes, Pixies, Zappa, Phish, MMW, Miles D, some classics and some new, I think you get the point. If you have any recommendations go ahead and pirate that for me and send it over, I'll give a dollar or a back rub.

Movies:

I likes me a good comedy most of the time. Otherwise your typical geeky movie will work. Favorites include Anchorman, 40yo Virgin, Old School, Dune, S.W. 3-6, Starship Troopers, Godfathers I and II, Goodfellas, Scarface, anything by Kubrick, Platoon, Natural Born Killers, Happy Gilmore, anything Wes Anderson and a few live concert vids (do those count?). Oh yeah, and one of my favorites has got to be 'the Hustler' with Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason. Talk about a great screen play, I'm putting this up there as one of the best of all time.

Television:

I really hate most TV, but like many people I watch it anyways because of my crippling dependancy on it. But the shows I WANT to watch????Aqua Teen Futorama Simpsons Sealab Scrubs Family Guy Harvey BirdmanOk, I've got an adult cartoon fixation problem. Is there a name for that???

Books:

Sometimes a Great Notion, Revolutionary Road, The Last Roundup, KooKoo's nest, On the Road, the Town and the City, East of Eden and some other old, forgotten books. Recently read; The Kite Runner The Reader The Naked Ape

Heroes:

People who care more about others than themselves, they amaze my selfish ass.

My Blog

The Big Move.

I thought I would take a moment to catch everyone up on my going-ons since the move to Texas. First of all the drive went very smoothly. We were on the road for about 36 hours, 27 of which were spent ...

I got glasses....

With the new glasses I've now been called 'dork', 'geek', 'nazi', 'nerd', 'grandpa' and 'handsome'. That last person nailed it. It started a few years ago when I was having trouble reading print from ...

Bored again, good luck.

I was careful and quiet, very aware of my surrounding and still totally focused on being swift and merciless. And merciless I was, for I split misery completely down the middle leaving two sagging hal...

Old dogs, new tricks and turning stripes to spots.

I've been wondering lately about change. Can people change? I've always thought that we get maybe one or two voluntary changes we can pull of in our lives. Just going with the flow and finding yoursel...

Stay away from the J

Well I've decided not to smoke cigarettes this week and see how I feel on Friday, so if you notice anything 'off' about my behavior this week like sporatic sobbing, genitorture or (more likely) a good...

Ooops, this was supposed to be a blog

Me from there.   From where I work I look out across a small highway that divides a rather small hill from myself. Behind the hill snow covered peaks rise above Park City, today freckled with clo...
