Born and raised in the heart of the Midwest, Wichita Kansas, Cypha Omni a.k.a. Eagle One has been exposed to every genre of music. Being born in the early 80s, he has lived and learned the true meaning of hip hop and its various forms of expression first hand, when hip hop was a microcosm in society, just an early movement loved and hated by many because of its driving forces and how potentially influential it could truly become. During that period, rhymes were politically charged, sociably enlightening, powerfully moving, reflecting on the issues people wanted to deny existed. The art of rap itself was free, motivational, and touched lives in a whole new way, which set the foundation for its followers to also provide breaths of fresh air and original entertainment.Unfortunately, the rap game is ever evolving, being steered in so many directions that deter from the original vision of what its about. Due to the media and its supporters, many as a result have misconceptions on the culture, attaching negative stigmas on hip hop and its art forms. Cypha, along with many other up and coming emcees, singers, and poets hes had the pleasure of collaborating with, are grinding to transform MUSIC and excel it to a whole new level, based off its early predecessors enthusiasm, realness, and unique originality.
