Born in Norfolk, VA, Jade Brooke was raised in Virginia Beach, VA. It was there; singing in the closet and hiding her voice between the church pews, too shy to share her voice; that she honed her skills as a singer and songwriter. Jade Brooke has a multi-faceted passion for music encompassing all genres. She loves the soulful melodies of Fred Hammond and John P. Kee, and is influenced by artists such as India Arie, Whitney Houston, Beyonce and Patti LaBelle.Jade Brookeâ€™s love of music led her to spread her wings and relocate to Atlanta to pursue her career as an independent artist. She began her quest for a spot on Atlantaâ€™s musical horizon on the open mics of Barazza, stirring the audience with the sensual lyrics of her self-penned songs. This dynamic songbird has also graced the stages of the Apache CafÃ©, three bears, and several other local venues. She enjoys entertaining with other artists and coupling her talents with local artists such as Crea, Syllabus and Ken J.
