IAN G GRAPHICS AND ILLUSTRATION

My name is Ian Guillermo Northcote - Rojas. I am Half Colombian Half English. I was born in Milton Keynes and lived there for 21 years until I left to go to University at the Norwich University College of the Arts end of summer 2007. Before that I spent three years on Bletchley Campus of Milton Keynes College where I first studied Art and Design Foundation and then stayed to come out of Graphic Communicatio National Diploma with Triple Distinction.Now I am nearing the final two months of my second year and finding my self more that a little busy with my Final Major Project for the seconf year. I am doing a Colombian Festival in London celebrating Colombian Culture, Art, Literature, and Music. A festival alreay exists called Colombiage, which I hope to attend in October this year.At some point in a few years once I have attained the funds I hope to make a short documentary of Colombia, its culture and the wonderful people who live there and show people the true Colombia and not the perception that has grown over the years. This will involve one long plane ride but well worth it. I would like to go back to Bogota and San Agustine ( a Burial site where Native Chiefs were burried with Stone Guardian Gods, and I visited with my parents when I was two and have always remembered) Neva, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Medelline, Cali and a few others. I would also like to see the Colombian Amazon and journy up the Andes. I hope to take a few friends with me.
