juanjo lopez neix l'octubre de 1970 a sant vicenç dels horts (barcelona). Després de tocar en diversos grups locals, principalment com a cantant, adquireix una relíquia americana anomenada fender jaguar a principis dels noranta i s'apunta al noise destroyer dels 'black lungs'. Amb ells tocarà al mític concert de la sala communiqué (on el so es va fer matèria) fent de teloners de 'bach is dead', amb els que ja compartien experiències ultrasòniques. Els 'black lungs' se suavitzen després de ser expulsats d'arreu on anaven a assajar i passen a dir-se 'Stereorent' cap al 1993. Apareix signant com a paprika joe sobre aquestes dates a les múltiples gravacions del quartet experimental. Un any després comença la seva trajectòria amb els 'beef' amb els que ha gravat uns quants discos fins avui dia. Cap al 2000 enceta una nova col.laboració amb els Trosky Models d'Esplugues de Llobregat. After playing in several girls galore local bands, basicly as a singer, he buys an american relic called fender jaguar in the beginning of the 90's, and signs on the destroyer noise of 'the black lungs'. With them, he will play on the seminal protho-hysterycal live concert at the Communiqué (metro Hostafrancs, red line) as openers of the not less seminal prothozoos 'Bach is dead', the night sound became solid. the black lungs get softer and tamed, after being expelt of the whenever rehearsal place they choose. then, 'Stereorent' comes alive in 1993. the name paprika joe appears on the tape recordings of the experimental quartet. one year after, start his singladure with 'Beef', a famous indie band located in Saint Pheliw of the gloomycat. Several aclaimed recordings since then with Los Beef till now. with the new century, Esplugues new friends band called 'Trosky models' have his uninterested collaboration.
