alice in chains is my favorite band ever. i named my daughter after the band (alysen). if you re-arrange the letter in her name, it spells "layne s". they rock hardcore and i wish i could have seen the original lineup live, just once. however, i got to see cardboard vampyres (jerry's side project) summer '05...and at that point i was sure i could die happy. so when it was announced they were going to tour this fall i KNEW i couldn't miss it. i fortunately got to attend the nov. 13 '06 show @ first ave. in minneapolis. NOW i can die happy. the band as a whole did a great fantastic job, and i was very impressed with william duvall's vocals. i'm also a fan of jerry's solo/side work and mad season. AiC FOREVER!!!!!!
