Britton Oneill Benton affectionately known as "Great Britton", "GB1", born on September 10. Britton made his debut at the tender age of 5, in the Gregory Anthony Sutton children choir at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.Singing a Hymn called "Tell Them I am a Child of God" on the third Sunday in October 1984, Britton took the mic and sang as if he had a sold out show at Madison Square Garden. Receiving a standing ovation, looking out at the diffrent faces and seeing eyes filled with tears, Britt knew that he had found his calling. It was at this moment that Britton realized that it was his destiny to become an entertainer and bless the world through music. He says wisley"Thats when I realized I wanted to inspire the world through music."Britton wrote his first song in the 8th grade called, "Girl You Know". Britton reaveals, "I have been a songwriter since the 8th grade but I had the gift way before that". Creating songs with catchy hooks and meaningful lyrics stood the hand of time thus far and will continue to do so. "To be blessed with the heart to create romantic melodies is worth protecting until the day it is to be released to well developed nations as well as third world countries among the globe."Britt attended a performing Arts High School in Cobb County, GA in which he excelled in the band as well as performing arts studying music theory. Britt is very musically inclined but he also had a major love for sports until a tragic accident in 1992, which put him in a coma for 2 months....Britton felt that this accident increased his will to become a better artist as well as a song writer. His lyrics became more powerful and meaningful. He began to write about problems that he went through, which everyone in the world could definetly benefit from. "Women hear my music and say, you must have been through some serious relationships".Spending most of his time paying for studio time with Jovan,TI and P$C.GB decided that there had to be a better way. Britton and his best friend that he met in intensive care proceeding the car accident; Jovan Dais, together they decided to build their own six bedrooms, 2 recording studios, as well as a few pre productions rooms, out of a empty 3200 square foot warehouse space. The studio became the home of Anotha Dais Productions, where Britton immediately began making records. "Britton revealed "owning your own studio gives you freedom to relax while working on your projects. I ask myself all the time is this good or bad? It depends on the person"Managed by Choice Management, GB1 has currently been featured on Jovan Dais hit MIXTAPE 24 Season 1 as well as features with Big Kuntry, Macboney and AK of the P$C. GB1 is also working with Summer Girlz as the Group Development Cordinator and planning the release of his highly anticipated MIXTAPE (If I knew Then What I Know Now)
