About Me

What is it about me that I would like to tell you? Well I could go on and tell you that I am everything you want me to be, everything that mainstream society accepts me to be, but don't you think that would be a lie. What I am going to tell you about me is I am an ordinary human being who strides to live up to society expectations of me, whatever that may be. Iâ€™m black but not stereotypically black. You might say what does this mean? What that says to me is that I live in the ghetto but donâ€™t try to use the ghetto as a scapegoat of things that goes around me. Iâ€™m very open-minded, I like diversity, I try not to discriminate, I hate labels and sterotyping people, I try not to procrastinate, I don't ojectify Women, I donâ€™t take things for granted, and older people sometimes tell me that I am very mature for my age but I somehow donâ€™t see it somehow. I also consider myself musically inclined. I occasionally play the guitar for the challenge and noting else. I used it as deterrent form a difficult childhood as a youngster. I sometimes find myself watching too much cable news on television. Cable news to me or even the local news I find is so much more real than the things happening in my normal everday life. I find it so addictive, the way I find watching sports on TV addictive. But too much addiction of anything I find can hurt the ones you love most. I am not big on religion. Iâ€™m a freethinker, please do a Google search. I'm not into religion because I grew up in a very strict religious household that doesnâ€™t celebrate your birthday but does recognize then mourns the fact when you are in death. Iâ€™m wholly am not in favor of any organize religion that tells me what to do in order to become â€œaccepted.â€ What I do believe in is the truth. My religion. I believe the truth will set me form anyone other person. The truth is so powerful that certain policitions uses it as a ploy in elections to get them elected. I use the truth everyday and to people I meet and trust because itâ€™s the only way for me to be trusted. And truth behind trust is the only way. Iâ€™m very forthcoming with individuals that I know I can trust. I like people who speak their minds and is not afraid of expressing their ideals.

My Interests

current events, blogs, nontheism, humanity, self-worth, music, reading, writing, typing, universal healthcare, urban revitalization, photography, skyscrapers, road trips, the auto industry, social, political and economic change, sports, searching for truth, etc..

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet people who otherwise I would never meet in person.

Music:

Music that's more than at least four or more minutes long, Jazz Fusion, Neosoul, Rnb, Hip-Hop, Acid Jazz, Drum n Bass Chill, and Nu Jazz.

Movies:

Indie flims, documentries, real life stories, whodunit flims, war movies, and the occasional comedies and psychological thrillers.

Television:

sports on tv, cable news, the history channel, the daliy show, the ifc channel, Al Gore's current tv, klye xy, and heroes.

Books:

Most of the books I read deals with urban issues, urban environment and political change sports, etc...

Heroes:

People that play the guitar with a passion.
