About Me

Dagfinn Hobæk (b. 1978), Oslo-based singer-songwriter slash photographer, heeds the beckoning of a sort of semi-acoustic folk song tradition strewn with contemporary references.

Whilst simultaneously indulging in various cooperative efforts of a musical nature (e.g. extended folk duo Gangardac, seasonal folk rock group Supertender and parodic post-dadaist cabaret band Penguidge Boy), Dagfinn has been composing and performing music on his lonesome for some time.

Dagfinn Hobæk is currently lending his voice to the forthcoming second album by alternative folk artist Tirill (http://www.myspace.com/tirillmusic).

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

P.S. The featured tracks were recorded and produced under less than favorable circumstances, so please call lightly upon your forbearance.
