M.R.G'z got their start rapping in high school in the hallways and lunch tables of Fairfield Central High School. Playa C and Q Dawg started rapping together and repping for Martin Road, but it wasn't until Black, Shawt Dawg, and Smoke came of age that they formed MRGz.
