Sept. 2005: Marcell Brown, a former student of Excel Models and Talent, has recently qualified for the Actors Union/ SAG and AFTRA .Marcell graduated from Excel's film and television program in December 2004 and attended IMTA LA in January of 2005. Thereafter, Marcell relocated to the Los Angeles area where he signed with one of his IMTA call-backs, Al Oranoto. In such a short time, March to August to be exact, Marcell has sky-rocketed from a "green" actor to the "next big thing"!Marcell started with small extra roles on such primetime network shows as Mad TV, CSI, and HBO's Six Feet Under. Marcell's experience at IMTA proved to be ready to take it to the next level.He went on to book a feature role in the movie Phat Girlz, starring Monique(Nikkie Parker from the Parkers). And keep your eye out for Marcell's first primetime featured appearrance on Fox's new hit show House where he has a co starring role with LL Cool J (Any Given Sunday, S.W.A.T., Charlies Angels).
