Born in Toronto, Ontaio, Dwayne was engulfed and surrounded by a musical family and soon discovered his own musical talent at the tender age of 7. He later had his very first performance debut at eight years old on drums @ his home church. His talent was later encouraged by his grandmother, who placed him in drum lessons, followed by his enrollment in piano (by his parents). Dwayne was always encouraged to sing by his father who is pianist. Both Dwayne and his brother Mark would always be cohered to sing with their father around the piano for ceremonious daily Christian devotions. His father being a minister would push his boys in music, performing in their father's church.After pulling out of forml music lessons at age nine, Dwayne Later re-developed the passion for piano at the older age of eighteen; this time he would learn it on his own. He taught the piano practicing on average of three to four hours daily. Artists such as Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and Luther Vandross then influenced him. He would Listen to their music and learn to play all his favorite songs by ear. He moved to Montreal for University and there graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree at Concordia University in Montreal, where Dwayne found his groove and came into his own as a music singer, composer, and music producer. Dwayne's songs are influenced by R&B, Gospel music, and Jazz and classical.
