Acestar (Born Joseph) is a 24 year old Producer/Songwriterfrom Long Island, New York. Acestar has been producing and writing for10 years and has worked with various artists to create hit records.With unsurpassed versatility and open mindedness, Ace is highly capableof writing and producing many genres, ranging from RnB, Pop, Rap,Techno, and Rock music. Acestar started out as a young rapper quickly gaining respectfrom those of his neighborhood with his charismatic flow andpunchlines. As he grew he found his interest grew as well and he begantaking his music more and more seriously. Releasing tracks solo, and incollaboration with other local artists Big T and AMF, Ace captured theattention of local successful entrepreneur, Erik Umina. Erik soon tookAce under his wing as an artist/business man and with this Ace beganproducing. Ace developed his own unique style and was yet again quicklygaining the respect of his listeners. He began taking production evenmore seriously and enrolled in classes at IAR(The Institute of AudioResearch) in 2004. In 2005 Acestar would start his own movement "PointBlank" with 2 other local artists. The trio quickly developed a buzzdropping a mixtape hosted by Shadyville's DJ Woogie, however the triowas unsuccessful due to lack of team effort and inflating egos andtherefore Ace decided to go his own way. Come late 2005 Ace would teamup with Rico and soon after decided to put a pause on his career as arapper in order to put more emphasis on Acestar the Producer/Songwriter.Ace would nonetheless continue to release hit records, featuring onhooks and producing the majority of Rico's music as well as music forXodus, Krhyme, and Kev Miles. Acestar continues to work with Xodus,Rico, Kev Miles, A&R Jones, Manfrediz, Big T, Krhyme (Eddie Kelly),Erik U, and Jerry Maier.
