AWTHENTIK (FREE MAX B)

!Ever heard the expression "a star is born"? That very well may have been the case on Sept.13th, 1985. That is when Danny Reyes (aka AWTHENTIK) was born. Unfortunately his mother left him after giving birth, and due to a rocky relationship with his father, AWTHENTIK was raised by both of his grandparents. Though his grandparents tried their best to keep their grandson out of trouble the sorroundings and temptations of the harsh streets of Asbury Park NJ proved to be too great. After a brief prison stint Awthentik realized it was time to make music a serious priority. Awthentik always had a niche for jotting down rap lyrics as he came to realize back in fourth grade to pass time during in school suspension. Through friend and fellow rapper, Back draft, Awthentik was introduced to another local MC I-dub. The two clicked automatically. With their similarities in music taste, subject matter, and lyricism the two formed a tight bond that was nothing short of electric. The 3 childhood friends (AWTHENTIK, Backdraft, I-dub) then formed Frontline Entertainment which was later changed to Tru Era due to copyright conflicts for the name.All 3 fresh out of high school with no money for studio time began to record mixtapes on Awthentiks Karaoke machine. Word quickly spread of Awthentik and his crew throughout Monmouth County NJ which helped the crew to move thousands of mixtapes throughout the Jersey Shore. Awthentik realized though, if he wanted to be successful and make it big time a karaoke machine would not do it. Therefore, he saved every penny he made to buy equipment and software for a professional home studio which he built and still has to this day in his Asbury Park home.Now not only did his crew have a studio to lay down tracks but also their own engineer in Awthenik who studied and learned how to edit and mix audio . It's pretty much like this: there isn't much this young aspiring artist cannot do! As far as rap he has released 3 installments of his "Moment Of Truth" mixtape series, filled with witty edge of your seat lyricism that has not been seen from another Puerto Rican rapper since Big pun. And not only is he an upcoming rap artist but you can add producer to that list as well. Bringing out the sound of pain and a classic east coast sound you're sure to hear his beats on upcoming projects soon! Wait that's not it. He's taking the word hip hop "ARTIST" to a whole nother level. Awthentik has designed numerous mixtape covers for up and coming djs and artist. This has led to him starting up Tru Era Designs and hands down is one of the best young graphic designers in the game today. Artist, Engineer, producer, graphic designer all in 1. This is talent the game has yet to see but is about to embark on in the form of AWTHENTIK.
