Layout made byI've been in Utah since September 2007. I am originally from Southern California but have also lived in MA just south of Boston for nearly 5 years. Utah is really beautiful, but a total different way of life than I am used to! I was raised Catholic but am not practicing. I have a very strong faith in God but do not believe in organized religions. I have been a veterinary technician for almost 15 years and love what I do!!! I am very much into animal rights .... someone has to speak for them! I don't eat them, wear them, or buy products tested on them....but I am by no means a member of PETA...they are much too out of control for me!!! I grew up with many diferent animals. I rescued for 11 years and loved every minute of it....hard work and all. I have rescued birds, squirrels, dogs, cats, small rodents, chinchillas, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am the very proud mommy of a miniature dachshund "Bernard"...aka "Poopie", a sheltie named "Felene", 2 cats "Rozene" and "Shireen", a dusky conure "Tiki", a beta fish "Gill", and two guinea pigs "Ruffles" and "Clover". I was raised as an only child but at 18 found my dad and also found out that I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. I am the proud Auntie to 12 neices and nephews, who are all too cute for words. Honestly they are the only kids I like! I enjoy music...anything except rap or opera but country is my favorite...movies, walking the dog, shopping, I LOVE to figure skate, I LOVE CAMPING....even after encoutering a black bear one summer in New Hampshire!!! I like skiing even though I have not done it in a long time, and I love swimming. I REALLY love to blast the stereo in my car while driving WAY TOO FAST!!! I love roller coasters, helicopters, and planes! I LOVE harley's but am too chicken to ride one!!! Disneyland is my favorite place on earth.....that's what I miss most about being home in CA! I love to travel and have been to 18 of the 50 United States and hope to see the rest of them! I would also love to travel abroad. I am extremely opinionated and proud of that!!! I do not hesitate to speak my mind and stand up for what I believe in...especially when it comes to animals and the rights they deserve! I hope to someday own a home with horse property. Athough I was raised in the city I would much rather live in the country where it is quieter with a simple way of life.
