A: First and foremost I would like to say I am a diverse individual both personally and professionally. I am an artiste who expresses myself through my music. I believe I was destined for stardom and my purpose here on earth is to make a change through my music. If you listen to the lyrics of my songs you will see that they all give you something to think about kinda like food for thought and as artistes I think that’s the ultimate goal for all of us.Q: What do you hope to accomplish through your music? A: If I can get one person to think about where they want to be in life or simply to start planning, then I can truly say I have accomplished something as music is suppose to be enjoyed but it can also get others to do some self reflection. I mean don’t get me wrong I want the Grammys and all the other accolades that one can acquire throughout the best music career possible but I want to make it clear that’s not all I want to achieve. I hope to put reggae/dancehall a little further than it current position, basically I hope for the day when reggae/dancehall music is heard in every corner of the globe and given the same respect as any other genre of music.Q: Who are your mentor(s) in the music industry? A: My mentors include Bob Marley, MLK, Bounty Killa, Marcus Garvey and Shabba Ranks. However there are quite a few people who are not known world wide that would still fit the description of a mentor so I would have to say basically anyone who stands for equality and the greater good of the entire generation both present and future.Q: Are there any specific producer you would like to work with? A: Well most definitely there are but I want to first say that I am willing to work with anyone who wants to work with me so long as we are on the same level mentally but just to name a few I would say Steven the Genius, Jah Cone, Dave Kelly, Toney Kelly, Birch Hill, TJ Records and Jordon Records.Q: How do you come up with the ideas for your lyrics? A: I write according to how I feel as well as what going on in my environment. Inspiration can come from anywhere and sometimes it’s from the places you least expect it but nothing is off limits. This is what makes fan identify with the artiste so you have to make it as real as possible because if no one can relate then the song won’t go very far.Q: Is there anything you would like to share that was not revealed in this biography? A: Not necessarily as no one can never answer every question but if after you read this you feel like something is missing my advice is to listen to a few of my songs and your understanding of Brain Damage would be greatly increased. So stay tuned to the music…………………….Jah Bless!!!!!!!!!Brain Damage continues to display his skills as a lyricist in hopes of becoming the next artiste to cross over and truly stake his claim in the dancehall scene. Through hard work and diligence it’s simply a matter of time before he becomes a brand in his own right. The future looks vivid for Brain Damage as he is currently one of the hottest Dancehall Artiste with an emergent demand.……………………………………………†¦â€¦STAY TUNED………………………………………………⠀¦
