Jann Wilde & Rose Avenue are a glam rock band from Finland. Their catchy songs will get you singing along to them in no time. They have a great unique style and dress sense which makes them stand out from the crowd.The band formed in 2005 and since then they have rapidly gained more and more peoples attention particularly from those in Finland. Their music is influenced from the 1970s glam rock and the 1980s new wave altogether portrayed with a great punk attitude.Jann Wilde & Rose Avenue took place in the Eurovision semi-finals for Finland last year and unfortunately didn't make it to the finals. However that will not stop the band from trying again next year!The band also toured last year with Negative in Finland and Germany as a support band.The idea of this fansite is to try and get more people from the UK interested in Jann Wilde & Rose Avenue as they aren't very known in the UK at this present time. Tender - Sweetness3. Where do you get the ideas for your songs from?We just use our imagination to create fictional characters to play fictional roles.4. As you are a Finnish band, why do you sing in English? Have you ever thought of singing in Finnish?We have grown up beside the MTV and we can't sing in finnish.5. Sadly, you didn't make it into the final round of Eurovision in Finland, are you going to try again next year?If they have guts to invite us again!6. You have very unique and flamboyant stage outfits do you design them yourself? If yes where do you get your ideas from?Yes, I come up with the ideas but I can't make the costumes by myself. I was thinking what could be the most glamourous costume to wear on stage and the answer was catsuit. Justin Hawkins and Ola Salo know it as well...Freddie Mercury knew it and he was right.7.
