This is translated in their live show with a vast array of cover songs from old school blues to 60's and 70's classic rock to 90's hard rock. However, these guys aren't just a cover band. They have as many original songs in their catalogue as they do covers. These originals are comprised of heavy rock riffs, jazz chord progressions, melodic solos, deep pocket grooves, ethnic rhythms, and a vocal smorgasbord unheard in any other musical act. Because of their dynamic nature, Mixed Root can conform itself to any cafe, bar, club, or party.
