Hello..my name is Daphne...I am a fancy rat...and yes, there is such a thing. I am extremely intelligent, clean, friendly, gentle, and as you can see, adorable.Unforunately, my reputation as a rat is pretty bad, because you know, that whole black plague thing. A little FYI, the black rat is the rat that spread the plague. Black rats are known for their gymnastic like abilities which contributed to the spread of the black plague.A lot of people have a problem with my tail. My tail is how I keep my balance(so I can do cool tricks amongst other things, like uh, walking) and my tail also regulates my body temperature, so it's really not a gross thing at all, just as much a part of me, as your hands or legs are to you.Rats are unfortunately sold as snake food which is very sad. In fact, 80-90% of rats are sold as food instead of the wonderful pets that they really are.In a world where everyone has a cause, and everyone is trying to spread the word for their cause, I am doing the same thing.
