Redlinin' Alter Boys

About Me

After spinning at Fly High, DJ Invasion and DJ PsyFreq decided to team up and see if people could handle an NRG/psytrance tag-team set. If you've heard them both spin separately, then you know what they could do together. Shortly after Fly High, they decided to become the Redlinin' Alter Boys.
To alieviate any religious confusion, we are not religious nor are we at all trying to persuade anyone to become religious or anything. We call ourselves Alter Boys because we find ourselves to be the "kids becoming men in this religion we call music". Alter Boys also comes to the conclusion that we have altered a sound you have never heard before. Psy & NRG. Who knew? We're Boys at heart and we like to Alter your mind. There are two translations to Redlining. One -- we usually always drink Redbulls, thus increasing our hyperactivity. Two -- we drop some hard ass dirty bass on your noggin. So there you have it. We are the Redlining Alter Boys in every translation and context. We preach music as a religion and alter everything your ears can hear.
DJ PsyFreq started spinning psytrance in January of 2006 and since then has accelerated into the fast-paced world of raves. Having spun at many house parties across the Bay Area, he got introduced to the Tekno Aborigione Tribe located in Dallas, TX. After flying out and spinning with them, he met DJ ToxicRainbow who introduced him to Tri-Atom Collective in March of 2007. From there he blossomed and is slowly becoming a crowd pleaser. Having only four shows under his belt, PsyFreq is becoming well known in the southern part of the Bay Area, which is slowly but surely creeping north. He hopes to have psytrance have more of a presence at parties and festivals and he plans to be one of the main turning points of it in the Bay Area. In July of 2007 he got his first international booking in Ontario, Canada next year. He is excited to be a part of the Redlinin' Alter Boys and hopes the Bay Area can handle the extreme but amazing eargasm.
DJ Invaison started spinning shortly after going to his first rave in may of 2003. After trying his taste with many genes of electronic music he finally settled with NRG (Energy), the world he knew today would never be the same. Having spun at a few a partys he soon felt the vibe you got from putting joy on hundreds of people faces. The feeling was pure ecstacy and he could never go back to the plan life. After having close to 3 years of non stop practice Invasion came out with his first demo. Great reviews came with so he continued to pursue the dream of making the big times with his new found skills. To this day Invasion continue to be a crowd rocker with his unique mixing style and nasty bass lines.
During Invasion's set at Fly high, he brought a vibe to the opening of PsyFreq's set that nothing can compare to. Something had to be done. So they figured they can put them in one massive head-banging set and see if the Bay Area can handle it.
