From the stairwell going down the stairs from the side entrance of the Lime Light at a very early age … creeping into Disco 2000 or walking the way up to the chapel… being delighted by the many gathered club kids and club groupies… the lights on the main floor light up the eyes… the bass pounding the heart as the rave of Techno slips into the mind…. Watching the hands raise and the bodies move… it began.Christopher aka Capone (Chris Capone) centered himself in the night life world like no other. Networking his way through the crowds and understanding the world behind close doors. From the early 90’s slipping out the doors of mama’s house into the freakish world of the night, Chris slowly made a name for himself by just being as wild as anyone can be. Being in the likes of many of the greatest promoters, club goers, trendsetters, club owners, and so forth… Chris social life engaged in the intense world of the nightclubs. Having worked in the Tunnel as a Guest List provider for Blue Lamoure Latex’s Diva Hut (back door)and having Junior Vasquez at the Main floor his nights became filled with the gala of people. Working on the phones in mid day at the Tunnel to grab people for the lists was his routine adventure, while peeking at the likes of Gatien…I cant forget Madam X either… Sitting in the room filled with a wild and vigorous bunch of promoters. Being a part of the Titanic’s of the night clubs, the Lime Light and the Tunnel will forever be embedded in his heart.Sound Factory, Factoria, Café Con Leche, Red Zone, Underground where just a few of the local mainstream clubs that he attended and or worked… watching groups like the House of Xtravaganza excite the crowds was a huge thing that inspired him to become active in the ballroom scene. The adventure to Shampoo @ Palladium was also one of his fav. Hot spots. House Fridays there was hot when DJ Hex Hector ripped the tables. Finding old found places like the CHA CHA Lounge at Tunnel hosted by Joey Rolon was sure a hit when Richie would come through. The Hot boy party that was attended was being at Kurfew.Working his way through the club scene heading into the South Beach Club Capital of the South, meeting the Likes of one of they greatest hosts/promoters he knows Angel Infiniti, he go the hands on the lifestyle.
Making the name Chris Capone became very known very quickly… hosting balls/shows/parties/clubs from Ft. Lauderdale, The Saint, Coliseum, to hosting New years at Back Door Bambi’s Crobar, working with Kevin Aviance at BLVD and other great event nights which the list can go on. Level was one of the most memorable moments working along side A.I. Meeting the likes of DJ JoJo, DJ Connie Cassarol, DJ Eddie X, DJ JRNY, DJ MIKE, DJ Scott Free, DJ Jojo Odyssey , and many others whom became well founded friends.As years passed and dealing with the major ups and downs of the club night life, especially in nyc, Chris found himself meeting up with the likes of DJ Angel X. Furthering his inspiration in the club life DJ Angel X and himself grew together as a team that no one would stop… As Angel X would ripped with destructive sounds, Capone would be on the side motivating the crowd and him. The friendship grew tighter and there names spilled across the Ballroom scene as a new team formed. Partnering together opening the Club Xtreme which was hosted by them began the network of the new beginning of Chris Capone… Xtreme started in October of 2006 and peeled its way through the ways of the club life. As time progressed Angel X’s carrier went on full blast having lead him to Atlanta where he became one of the top DJ’s there. The friendship maintained still today.During that time Chris also hosted a huge Latin Reggaeton Bash along with co promoting other venues. 2007 hits and his huge Birthday Bash at Splash (nyc) became a success with having Legend Promoters Yamil X, Danny X, and Riggz Ent. While performances by Kandelo and Ina K Ina preformed along with his heart stopping dime piece Ms. Angelique Ali, and the Debut of Natalie Prodigy. The birthday bash was a huge success that inspired to get Chris right back in the ball game. As he gained a large following many come and will come to attend his functions.Now that he is back returning the promoting scene in Nov. 2007 a twist of events came...
On the down low he has been following, practicing, and producing cuts for his DJ carrier to begin. Low and behold November 22, 2007 marks his debut to hit the tables.
