About Me

I'm petite; I'm Spanish; I live in London and love it; some would say I'm loud, I say I project my voice, always ready for the big stage; I'm the queen of procrastination... I've even missed planes because of that... (the fobia of packing) Do we need any more random thoughts? All right then, I'm an actress, performer, director, teacher, producer... almost all theatre related job, except technical stuff -i'm useless on a ladder. Ah, the joys of being self-employed, not knowing what will happen tomorrow...I'm a happy member of Dende Collective, a very active theatre company based in London and doing all sort of amazing work, like our latest play "Agreste/Drylands" at the Lyric Hammersmith, others include: "Dona Flor and her Two Husbands", "The Piranha Lounge", "OneFourSeven", "Kwaidan - Japanese ghost stories". www.dendecollective.org

Survivals

Today I feel I've saved a few broken lives. I don't know if I've mended the torn pieces for ever or this is just a patch but it feels good knowing that today they, we, all have achieve something. Youn...

heart of stone

When you left four years ago, having to say goodbye wounded my heart badly. My heart bled for days, and tears flowed at almost the same pace. Slowly the pain receded but one fatal hour, after just a f...

The Circus of Horrors

That title applies at many different levels. Yes, it was the name of the show, but it was also horrific,  and I'm not talking gory horror... I'm talking tacky horror. But it's a much loved show f...

The TV route

I've been to Bristol to shoot a very short scene where I basically had a couple of lines. In Spanish even! It was easy and fun, and only for that they've put me in a luxury suite, in a lavish hotel wi...

I must remember this week... first I decided to change rooms (yes, all within the same house, but still...) and I've painted it (see previous blogs about problems with the decorator), then I upgraded ...

traitor to my mother tongue

I always had this problem, "always" meaning "quite a long time", like "forever" meaning "a long time" but usually shorter than always or "until I meet someone more interesting". Anyway, as I was ...
