I'll get the nitty-gritty out of the way first: I'm native Irish, straight from the auld sod where I studied Graphic Design and Visual Communications at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, later working for a short time as a freelance designer before moving to Germany. I started writing in 1999 and haven't stopped since!++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++My novels are “Peggy Does a Runner”, first published in 2001 by Puff Adder Books - Author-Network (EPPIE Award Finalist 2003 for the Best Single Title/Mainstream Novel. “Peggy” was re-released in October 2006 under the title “Making Tracks” (Wings Press Inc, USA). Further novels are "Casting Off", “Over The Wall” (EPPIE Award Finalist 2009 and Golden Wings Award) and “There and Back”. Three of my short stories are included in the anthology "A Place Between Worlds" published by Fairmount Publishing, Germany. I’ve also assisted in the translation of a book of poetry from German into English - “The Blue Flowered Sofa” (2000 - Der blaue Verlag) and written for Scribesworld. Presently, I'm struggling with the last three chapters of my fifth novel "The Cutting Line". SEE REVIEWS UNDER MY BLOGS!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who's willing to call a spade, a spade. I'm a down to earth Irishwoman living in exile - all my own fault of course (but he was worth it...). The result is two crazy daughters who speak to me in a foreign language and the desire to write about Ireland - a difficult task because living abroad urges me to dot my novels with expressions like "ara", "jaysus", and "holy hour". But I'm improving, honestly... *********************************************************Her e's someone you should meet - photographer Ilona Mueller, she creates fabulous images!
