I hope to travel the world one day and see how other people live. I feel that Americans are way too caught up in their own world and are not open to seeing the simple things in life. Africa would be my first place... Ethiopia. Sounds nice. :) I am also loving FACES right now. I could not have asked for a better UF Fam.
I am interested in meeting people who know how to act. I do not have time for ignorance and I certainly do not condone people who always have a problem that they want to dump on others. Like everyone else, I have my own problems to take care of. If you're a fake, a liar, a hater, or all of the above please look the other way and don't waste my time. Don't request to be my friend just to make your life seem interesting, request it because you want to talk to someone who has her priorities straight. Oh yeah, I don't have time for games so, don't try me.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment
I listen to all kinds of music, meaningful music that is. I'm not limited to a particular genre. Good music is good music whether its R&B or Oldies. :)
My favorite movies are The Notebook, BAPS, and The Color Purple.
I am so into I Love NY 2. Yeah, she's crazy but admit it, its entertaining. I also like to watch a lot of medical and plastic surgery shows.
Mostly, I read books written by African-American authors such as Jerome Dickey, Zane, Omar Tyree and Mary B. Morrison. The first book that I ever read in my "adulthood" was The Coldest Winter Ever by Sistah Souljah. Afterburn by Zane has been the best so far.
My heroes are my mother and my grandmother, Zora Lee Mann, (RIP) for teaching me the lessons of life and how to deal with them. I miss you Granny!
