Elias was born on 20 May 1985 in Beveren, Belgium. Since a young age Elias developed an unusual interest. He loved cooking! So, naturally after elementary school, at age 12, he started at the Hotel school and specialized in cooking. During his education he worked in different restaurants to become a more experienced Chef. After the successful graduation he got his degree as a cook and his certificate as a banquet chef. Thanks to his experience he was offered a job at ‘t Laurierblad , a famous Michelin-star restaurant. There he was taught the exquisite French cuisine by the famous chef: Guy van Cauteren himself. His natural talent and abilities made him a sous-chef, ready to take on any responsibilities. Elias also loves travelling and so it was not a tough decision in taking the offer to become a private chef(on a luxury megayacht). At the age of only 19, Elias became the youngest private yachtchef in the world!!! As a private chef Elias works; on luxury superyachts, at private mansion's, VIP party's, Award shows, etc. Because of his job Elias is been booked in many countries such as; Switzerland, France, Monaco, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Egypt, Slovakia, Montenegro, Holland, Germany, England, Malta, U.S.
