The saga began in 2003.A beat,a pen,and a will,and a star was born.Frustrated with no out let to release his anguish Jermeace Reed decided to try something new.In november of 2003 he was invited to be a part of a compilation cd with a host of friends. Jermeace was offered a solo track and a guest apperance on the hood classic "Girl" featuring the one and only Hot 16.Being soley motivated with the privalage to spit Jermeace set out to record his first studio project ,after changing his stage name from lyrikal tha gift(lyrical and california) , which is a combination of what he had planned for the just beginnig career to represent.Moving foward and wanting to put a more personal spin on the musik , he begin to go under his longtime allias J.reed(which is his government name abreviated).In early 2004 he completed his first solo project the J.reed mixtapape vol.1.after and overwelming response he decide that it could only get better and in june of 2004 he relesed his second solo project "the world iz not enough vol.2 mixtape"there after he began try to elevate even more he decide to take his show on the road he entered himself as a solo act in the then famous attraction 2004 Demo Fast Break competion (las Vegas) ,which was just the type of attention he was aiming.He was pressed to create a undeniable original project .Recruiting his cousin mississippi's own frestyle podigy allias to add a flavor to his soup of success that no one else on his side of the globe had ever fathered to try.When allias arrived they got straight to the point ,the result was a 8 song demo entitled "truth B told" in just 4 days.as a solo act J.reed apeared at Demo Fast Break taking no prisoners in coference with with damn near every label in the country .After a spell binding stage performance.J.reed was offered a 1 year deal with cig music,and Corbin Grimes(song shark!)(smile).who would later .. J.reed and go bankrupt.Blessed with 11 months of industry contacts and equipt with about 40 cig productions an angry J.reed hand picked his tracks and begin to write the most visious project to date The Past, The Present,and the truth... on the now famous track im gone make it .j.reed took shots at the music bussiness's biggest gimp corbin grimes.Also since being cutt j.reed has established his own small label Hu$tler$ world Mu$ik.With that being said J.reed states "strive for the top because the bottom is already croweded pimpin".
