What Is RATE Records?
RATE Records is a "Rough Around The Edges" DIY, Cooperative, Volunteer, Not-For-Profit, "outside of the box" music industry resource for new and upcoming artists in the Atlanta and Central Georgia Independent Music Community. RATE is an acronym for "Rough Around The Edges", which is the target Artist-Member for RATE Records. We are not a company interested in the Britney Spears type of artist, but we intend to focus our efforts and resources towards helping out the original, raw, singer-songwriter, acoustic, folkie Americana type of musicians.If you're interested and consider yourself a match to what I’ve outlined above, send an email to me with your full name, a MySpace or other website that has your music posted, an upcoming show schedule, a good contact email address and phone for my contact records, and a short Bio about you and your musical plans, and what skills and resources you bring to the cooperative spirit of RATE Records.
