Laughing at shit you're not supposed to laugh at is my favorite interest... for example I love to rewind movies over and over again for a part that most people wouldn't find funny, but somehow it's hilarious to me. Other than that I enjoy having make shift jam sessions with my bongo or keyboard, drawing, painting, playing video games but anyone who truly knows me understands my obsession with nintendo... we're talking blow, slap and clean with a q-tip nintendo. I've really gotten into writing lately, mostly short stories or song lyrics. My brother would tell you I'm a rapper but I just say I like to put words together and make em sound good. When I find time I enjoy going out and dancing or catching a flick. That pretty much sums it up. ..
God....and anybody who loves to laugh! But not just when you're supposed to, I mean laugh at the stuff that other people miss, that's a rarity and highly valued quality I can appreciate in somebody!
I'm open to everything...even a little country with a side of classical sometimes. I have this weird thing that I really enjoy good movie scores, for example almost any material by Hans Zimmer, or John Williams. I could seriously sit here and make a list but I am constantly introduced to new bands or sounds all of the time. It ranges from Pharcyde to Tupac and Etta James to Sting. I have no boundaries with music.
Now movies I don't mind listing cause you might see some that ring a bell or that you might want to check out so let's see, I'd have to say Conan(both but more so the Destroyer), Love and Basketball of course, But I'm a cheerleader, City of God, The Color Purple, Boys Don't Cry, Team America, Blood sport (Anything with Van Damme from the 80's really), Coming to America, Terminator 2, Set it off, Beetle Juice, The Last Dragon, Goonies, Big Trouble in Little China, Robin Hood Men in tights, Just One of the Guys, People Under the Stairs, Shawshank Redemption, Fried Green Tomatoes, American History X, Boyz n' the Hood, Sin City, Don't Be a Menace, the Warriors, Happiness, Players Club, Ghostbusters 1 & 2, Who framed Roger Rabbit, Land Before Time(not all 19 of them just the first one), Ferngully, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Broke Back Mountain, All 5 Harry Potters, Lord of the Rings trilogy, and please stop me cuz I can go on and on.
New stuff: All the show's that start with America(America's next top model, America's next Dance Crew, American Idol), Making the band, sometimes Flavor of Love, Real world/ Road Rules Challenge(mind you these are shows that I check out in between other shows. Now the stuff I actually mean to watch are Boondocks, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, and you tube cause even though it's not a show it's the most entertaining piece of media available... the "Unforgivable" guy! I'll never get enough of him. Ever!Old School: Roseanne, Fresh Prince, the Facts of Life(I own seasons 1-3), and when I was a kid it was all about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros show, Ghostbusters, Muppet Babies, Popeye, Droopy cartoons, Looney Tunes, and again I could go on. I would really like to re-collect all my old favs for nostalgic purposes.
Harry Potter has taught me how to read again. If it wasn't for that series I would have committed the sin of not reading a book purposley since High School. I got all seven books and I'm waiting patiently for all seven movies...
My father for always being himself and my mom for always being there... and I'm hoping to become my own hero in the near future if I can succeed in meeting my goals.
