Surgeles (kole leijen) is a true musician with a lot of energie! He started listen to old records at the age of 5 when he get a turntable as present for his 5th birthday and there it starts. With records from emerson lake & palmer pink floyd and many more he knows what is the true music! And when he is 8 he lurned from his sister what is house music and he started taping tapes with many many house music. When surgeles was 15 he going to a houseparty and he know what he wanna to become a dj! He going many times a week to his local record dealer and starting bulding a techno collection! Soon he started to make his own music and soon many people like his sound, dark techno music. At the age of 16 he playing at his first party in amsterdam and from then its going very well. In 2005 hes visiting jeff mills at Haarlem and Surgeles giving a demo,and the day after surgeles get an email from the one and only mister Jeff Mills. Jeff mills say that my stuff rocks and he is getting an idea from his mix he ask Surgeles to make a compilation of the purpose maker label. 2 weeks later his mix was on jeff"s axis site for the "10th birthday of the famous record "the Bells". And when Dave Clarke had an competition for the best produced song in amsterdam Surgeles was choosen to played by Dave Clarke on his famous radio show White Noise on 3FM.
