Stereoluxxx is based in Flint, MI., one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S. Its members (Tunde Olaniran and Controller) are trying to positively represent their community and have created one of the most innovative music projects to come out of Michigan in years.
Lead singer Tunde Olaniran has worked with the world-famous Berlin duo Chris De Luca vs. Phon.o. Chris De Luca was a former member of Funkstörung. Tunde wrote and recorded tracks for their upcoming release. CLP feels that Stereoluxxx is the future of the music industry and will soon be heard around the world.
Controller (Brian Preczewski) is an electro-rock producer and artist from Lake Orion, MI. After fronting a high school rock band and then striking out on his own as a solo artist, he found inspiration after seeing Tunde perform at a summer music festival in Flint. Controller sent Tunde several tracks, and struck gold when Tunde quickly penned Honey, the first track between the two. Honey’s thumping bassline and urgent chorus chant quickly became a crowd favorite whenever the two performed live. Honey was written about a character named Jane.
Stereoluxxx was born a few months after Jane.
Jane was born after "Honey" was created through collaboration between Controller and Tunde Olaniran. The song’s protagonist is a complicated woman with a story of love, lust, heartbreak, insanity, euphoria, suspicion told through ten songs. These ten songs are "Eros."
"Eros" is a journey with musical roots firmly set in electronica, that wanders through the terrain of hip-hop, R&B, new wave, and dance and sees its architects (Controller and Tunde) making strides as musicians, crafting some of the most engaging songs in their still-young careers.
