Hi all! I'm Joe La Banco, a Chicago-based guitarist sometimes known as "Fretfire". I'm working on TONS of new material and will be posting it here as soon as I've recorded and tweaked it all properly. This will take me a little time, but bear with me, I think and hope you'll all find it worth the wait! My style and influences will remain evident, but at the same time I really feel I'm on to some different things these days and I aim to express that as fully as I can. It's very likely that I'll try to form a new incarnation of Fretfire at that point. The band hasn't been active since '06; we all parted on good terms, so who knows, some of us might get together again. Any players that think they may be interested, let me know! Other writers are very welcome!
I'll post a bulletin when I've got some new material up, in the meantime I hope you visit the band page and that you enjoy Fretfire's existing songs!
