Rafal Drewniany was born in May 1976. He graduated from IT and technical faculty at a Teacher Training College in Krakow. He has also been active in the field of music for the last17 years. Fascinated with guitar music he started his education at the age of 12 as a guitar player (taught by Ryszard Bialic), later he carried on with private tuition (Aleksander Vinitsky and Jacek Korohoda). At that time, he won numerous prizes at the guitar contests as a solo player as well as a accompanist. He also took part in various competitions as a member of jury. His combined interest i.e. technique and music resulted in a great passion of producing concerts, gigs and recordings. He received adequate education in the College for sound engineers where he later worked as a lecturer and instructor. He also took up engineering sound to films and their post-production. Searching for new ways of expression he found improvised music.
Now he is member of band named Process On concert he uses laptop with music software for creating and processing sounds.
He is also owner of mobile recording studio Sound is Art (myspace) , Sound is Art (www in polish) . Specialize with acoustic music recordings.
